Initial deposit is equal to 50% of the venue rental cost. No event is guaranteed until a signed contract and the initial deposit has been received the Sailfish Marina Resort. In the event of cancellation by customer, all deposit monies shall be held to cover said losses as liquidated damages in addition to any other rights SFM may have. Sailfish Marina Resort reserves the right to cancel events if deemed necessary. Sailfish Marina Resort cannot be held for losses due to inclement weather. Please note that high winds (in excess of 30 mph) prevent the usage of umbrellas on the island/Ceremony lawn. As needed, Sailfish marina Resort may arrange for rental of tables, chairs, dinnerware, linens, food service equipment, tents, stage and dancefloors. The cost of these rentals will be passed on to the customer and itemized on the final banquet order. For food safety reasons no items from buffet will leave Sailfish Marina Resort Property. *** 100% of the cost must be paid prior to execution of the event. Any additional charges accrued on the event date must be paid in the form of a credit card or cash. Personal checks and or company business checks will not be accepted no less than 14 days before the event date.
